Information Collected
HSEG may obtain personal information about you, such as your name, address, demographic data, authentication credentials, email and phone number, when you submit such information to HSEG for queries regarding our services and/or visit the Site. “Personal Information” means information that identifies you or could reasonably be used to identify you.

Legal grounds for processing of your personal information.
The use of your Personal Information set out in B. above is permitted under applicable United States’ state laws. For Personal Information collected under the applicability of European, Australian, and Canadian specific data privacy regulations and laws, the legal grounds for use are as follows:
- When have you consented for HSEG to use and collect your Personal Information, you will have been presented with an online consent form in relation to any such use and may withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to: info@homelandsecurityexperts.org.
- Where necessary to enter into or perform our contract with you.
- Where HSEG needs to use it to comply with our legal obligations.
- Where HSEG uses it to achieve a legitimate interest and our reasons for using it outweigh any prejudice to your data protection rights, such as promoting HSEG’s services and tailoring news and communications for you as requested by you, or for detecting fraud and criminal activities.

HSEG maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards designed to protect Personal Information. HSEG employs encryption technologies and user authentication procedures that are designed to keep your data secure. HSEG limits access to Personal Information to authorized personnel, contractors and business partners who need access to perform their responsibilities and are contractually required to keep your information secure.
Retention of Personal Information
HSEG retains your Personal Information only as long as is necessary and only for the purpose for which HSEG obtained the Personal Information. HSEG’s retention periods are based on business needs and once your Personal Information is no longer needed, it is either irreversibly anonymized, or securely destroyed.
Opting Out of SMS Messages
If you previously opted-in to receive SMS messages from HSEG, you may at any time, discontinue receiving SMS messages by sending the SMS message “Stop” in response to the HSEG message you received.
Privacy of Children
HSEG does not knowingly collect or use any Personal Information from children as defined under applicable laws on our Site and will delete any such Personal Information upon notification to info@homelandsecurityexperts.org.
Information Collected from Third-Party Software
When you visit the HSEG Site, you may link to third party software that links to another party’s website. HSEG does not collect any information that may be collected by that third party; however, information you supply to that third-party software may be collected and/or used by that party. Communication Preferences
You will only receive emails, mailings, or app notifications from HSEG if you have requested or agreed to be on our correspondence list. The HSEG Site may change from time to time. As a result, at times it may be necessary for us to make changes to this Privacy Policy.
